What are the stages of the actual construction of your
home? Here's how it happens:
1. Install rough plumbing 2.
Pour the slab 3. Frame-up the house 4. Apply exterior wall 5. Apply
roofing 6. Install windows and doors 7. Install electrical, plumbing,
air/heat, gas 8. Add insulation 9. Apply sheetrock and drywall
work 10. Install cabinets 11. Apply interior trim and paint 12.
Install floor covering 13. Install appliances 14. Add lighting and other
fixtures 15. Apply the finishing touches 16. Move in!
MATERIALS AND
EFFICIENCY: All homes built by Carbaugh & Root Builders are made with
the the highest quality materials and are built to insure the maximum
efficiency possible. For homes built in Southeast Texas, only #2 yellow pine
is used. Insulation is blown into the walls, and the attic areas receive
stablized attic insulation. Polysealants are applied around all exterior
openings and penetrations.
